      In depth

      Verdict

Lucky Esteem has placed in all three starts in maiden races and should be in the mix again now handicapping for the first time. But SPRINGWOOD (NAP) finished ahead of Servo when a close-up fourth at Haydock last time and, dropping down a grade for this with an apprentice’s allowance in his favour, the Fahey colt may prove good enough. Law Power is another dropping down in class after a modest handicap bow at Newmarket and is preferred to Kroy, placed at Hamilton last time but stepping up in distance today.
