    Verdict

Rated 73, ETTU would normally be a confident choice to win at this level but she attempts 6f for the first time today having disappointed over a mile last time and placing over 7f before that. She still gets the nod given the others with experience have shown little so far and we are left guessing at the ability of the newcomers. Van Velde may prove best of the latter group given he’s a half-brother to a Group 3 winner while Boogie Babe is related to a winner on the all-weather and preferred to Scealtara and Spike's Princess.
