Verdict
Jus Pires was placed over a longer trip here on his first outing after wind surgery while Persian Sun went close over 1m4f at Kempton having slipped down the weights. Neither are easily dismissed racing off the same marks today but that also applies to HOWZER BLACK, upped in trip last time and finishing a close-up fourth over course and distance. Keith Dalgleish’s charge beat both Corked and Paddyplex on that occasion and gets the vote with more to come from him over middle-distances.
