In depth

Verdict

The Godolphin newcomer Chief Operator could be anything and has to be considered here, however Swift Cut is a horse on the upgrade and he gets our vote, Tomorrow's Dancer may do best of the others. The selection travels up from the Alan Jarvis yard and has clear form claims. He improved on his Southwell debut run to get within a short head of Bertoliver in a stronger looking race than this at Newmarket. With more progression likely he looks the one to be on. The market should guide as regards Chief Operator, who as you would expect is superbly bred. Meanwhile Kevin Ryan's runner Tomorrow's Dancer can be expected to improve on his debut run which was in a hot race at York. The pick of the others could be Mark Johnston's Moral Fibre, but on this occasion we will side with the form horse and that is Swift Cut.
