In depth
Verdict
Iron Man scored well at Ayr last time and might just get the better of Carte Diamond here. Athollbrose and Okayman were well behind the selection on that occasion. Carte Diamond is very interesting as he won a valuable 12 furlong handicap at Doncaster when last seen and we afford him all due respect. The fact that Paul Carberry is taking the ride on Coming Again is interesting, while The Rip seemed to showed some improvement here last time when half-a-length behind Alpha Juliet, and either could get amongst the money. We span our coin to find the selection, though, and it just came down on the side of Iron Man, who looked to be on the upgrade when winning at Ayr, although the betting might put a different complexion on things.
