Verdict
Lost Boy stands out here and can score form Indy Mood and Rathlin Island. The selection looked inexperienced on his debut but still ran well to be second here over two-and-a-half miles in a better event than this. That experience should not be lost on him and, with the longer trip sure to suit, he holds very solid claims in this novice event. Rathlin Island was placed in an Irish bumper last season and a return to that type of effort should see him put in some kind of show in a weak event. Indy Mood showed improved form to win at Kelso last time when stepped up to today's trip. However, he might be slightly flattered by that result as the going was very testing on that occasion and a far cry from what it will be today. Capybara is a winning pointer and has to be noted in the betting. Leyland Comet hails from a stable in form but needs to step up on what he has so far shown, although this looks a modest contest. Overall, though, Lost Boy looks to have found a good opening and is taken to score.
