Dream Mountain gets the nomination here to get the better of Born Slippy and Apache Nation. The selection has shown plenty of promise on both of his runs to date and he did nothing wrong when narrowly beaten by Roscommon at Catterick last time over 6f. He was crying out for an extra furlong that day and as he gets that here he should take plenty of beating. Born Slippy rates the main danger as this colt made a pleasing debut at Lingfield when finishing a close third behind Scottish Stage. He is sure to come on for that run and he is entitled to go close. Apache Nation ran well from a poor draw at Thirsk last time when a close third behind Ditton Dancer. That was an improvement from his debut when he was well beaten, but that race has worked out quite well so he is not one to dismiss lightly. Ireland Cross was slightly hampered on his debut when third behind the well-backed Frank Crow so he is another with claims, but Dream Mountain looked a winner waiting to happen last time and over this extra furlong he should come out on top.
