In depth

Verdict

Island Song has shown good progress since switching yards and returns to the all-weather having won four of her last five outings on Turf. Special Mission is finding it more difficult to get her head in front and was placed yet again over 1m6f at Chelmsford last week but CHANTRESSE was beaten less than a length over track and trip on her latest start. Karl Burke’s filly is fancied to confirm running with French Heroine and open her account with the unexposed Joie De Vivre preferred of the remainder.
