Verdict

Top Billing was beaten a distance at Kelso after winning at Carlisle but has the beating of Another Mattie on the form book. Kalaharry beat Misfits at Hexham last month, though seems to reserve his best for that track. Silk Or Scarlet has gone close a couple of times and Petite Ganache had placed over this trip before winning over 2m6f here last time. Madam Cloud could be interesting making her handicap debut from near the foot of the weights but this could be a good opportunity for Tim Vaughan’s CHAMPAGNE CHASER, who would have found the going much too quick on his reappearance and is well treated on last season’s form. Speedy Cargo may need to drop a few pounds before getting off the mark but still has time on his side.
