        Verdict

        Despite receiving plenty of weight from his older rivals, the three-year-old Wilheheckaslike faces no easy task in this claimer and the vote goes to Speedfit Free, who is preferred to Only One Legend and Pawan. The selection is well treated on official BHB ratings, has been running consistently well of late and hails from a stable that is beginning to hit form. He makes more appeal than Kevin Ryan's Only One Legend, who has given little sign of encouragement of late. Pawan is lightly raced and less exposed than his rivals but it is a worry that the son of Cadeaux Genereux is pitched in at such a lowly level having shown respectable form on turf. Trainer David Nicholls has yet to strike form yet, and probably will not do so for a month at least, so American Cousin and Speedy James are best watched in a race that should go to Speedfit Free.
