          Verdict

          Witness remains a maiden but has shown enough at a similar level to suggest she can go close once again. A reproduction of her fair third at Leicester earlier in the month represents solid form in the context of this race. Valdasho comes in to this in winning form but steps up in grade having landed a weak seller but Montana Moon was a fair juvenile and will be sharper for his belated comeback over an inadequate trip at Catterick.
