Verdict
Valiant Effort hails from a yard in top form at present and should go close if able to reproduce a staying-on second over slightly shorter at Warwick earlier this month following a short break. Cosi Fan Tutte showed improvement for the step up in trip when only collared close home in a 12f Newmarket handicap off a mark of 70. Ben Hanbury's charge is capable of winning a race of this nature under a useful apprentice but Kamala looks a difficult ride.
