      Verdict

      There's a good chance POSITION will handle the underfoot conditions given his runaway success on the Fibresand at Southwell last time. Sir Mark Prescott's charge gets the nod on his handicap debut. Loyal Master scored in soft ground at Beverley last time and had subsequent winner and today's rival Flurry Of Hands behind earlier in the season, while Lady Layla gave the impression today's extra distance would suit when winning at Ayr recently. New Decade is another recent Southwell winner though his form doesn't match that of the selection.
