In depth

Verdict

TEMERITY easily beat subsequent Ripon winner Permian and Proud Archi over 7f at Ayr. With Adam McNamara taking off 5lb, it's difficult to see either of that pair turning the form around here with Richard Fahey's Zoffany filly likely to be even better over this extra furlong. Riviere Argentee was sent to Deauville after winning at Carlisle and wasn't disgraced, hinting that a first try over a mile would suit, while course winner George Reme and Roar are likely improvers. Good Time Ahead, Bongrace and Major Cornwallis all look a tad exposed for a race of this nature, however.
