In depth

Verdict

Sting Like A Bee, claimed by his present owner for ¿9,000 out of a race at Musselburgh, didn't shape with any promise on his debut over timber, so is passed over, while other moderate performers on the flat Red Flyer, Adios Amigo and Zamir, may all be more at home in selling company. Alam shaped quite well on his debut over hurdles, but that was a slowly run event and he may be flattered by that. Course and distance winner Cheyenne Chief sets a fair standard and must go well under his penalty, but the TEAMtalk selection goes to Chercher L'Amour, who left the impression at Uttoxeter, that there was better to come.
