Verdict

Green Flag has won six of his 11 starts over hurdles and is unbeaten in two runs over fences. He'll need to improve again but there's every chance he'll do so. He was just in front of STREAMS OF WHISKEY when that one fell at the last at Ayr earlier this month but the latter had blundered his way round and with a better round of jumping could take his revenge on 6lb better terms. Scotswell, who was beaten seven lengths into second, jumped very well and, as that was his chasing bow, he looks certain to make progress. Winning point-to-pointer Ocean Club is consistent enough though too far out of the handicap to consider but Green Wizard, who won his first three starts over fences all in May, has competed at a higher level subsequently and had no chance after a bad mistake at Market Rasen last time.
