Verdict

AP McCoy only has two booked rides at the fixture, My Tent Or Yours in the big race and FULL SHIFT here. A winning point-to-pointer, Nicky Henderson's charge wouldn't have been sent all the way here unless thought capable of a winning start under Rules and is given the nod. Another winner between the flags, Pierrers Bounty, showed plenty of potential when narrowly beaten by Discovery Bay in a maiden hurdle at Wetherby and his trainer should have him right for his reappearance. Clever Cookie won two bumpers before making a promising debut over timber behind Franciscan at Musselburgh and looks certain to make further progress while easy Catterick bumper winner Pair Of Jacks should make a hurdler and is just the type Malcolm Jefferson does so well with.
