      Verdict

      Charlie Appleby’s yard may have already notched-up a winner or two on today’s card and MAGICAL LAND can go close in this. A runner-up in a maiden over 7f here last month, he can go one better over this extra distance. Ryan Moore was on board Crossford when the latter placed over track and trip last time while Zwelela steps up from 7f bidding for a hat-trick and is prefrred to stablemate and Beverley winner Longlai. Forest Falcon has been raised 6lb on the back of recent placed efforts and finished ahead of Tornadic at Musselburgh earlier.
