Verdict
Kelucia is handed the vote to notch her third career success while Ouija Board, Shalaya and Saffron Fox rate the chief dangers. Jim Goldie's charge put up arguably her best performance to date when a strong finishing third in a Group 2 contest here on Champions Day and should prove even more effective over this extra furlong. The Grand Lodge filly handles cut in the ground and looks the one to beat on these terms. Ouija Board opened her account with a comfortable success in minor company at Yarmouth last time but this represents a significant rise in grade and she has something to prove. Shalaya is another unknown quantity but hails from the family of Shahrastani and made a most favourable impression when scoring on her debut at Leicester so has to be respected. Saffron Fox showed plenty of determination when winning on the July course in August and confirmed her ability when a creditable runner-up behind a smart rival at Sandown later in the month. The daughter of Safawan has place claims but Kelucia looks the one to beat if reproducing her recent form.
