Verdict
Midnight Ballard is taken to open his account at the main expense of Golden Grace and Mission Man while Silent Hawk is an interesting newcomer to note. Fulke Johnson Houghton's colt improved on his debut outing when a close third behind a smart rival in a similar event at Newbury last time and, with further progress to come, sets a decent standard for the remainder. Golden Grace and Mission Man have shown plenty of promise with placed efforts in similar grade last time and both have to be respected while Saeed bin Suroor's Silent Hawk, a well-bred son of Halling, could easily prove good enough to make a winning debut and the market will reflect his chance.
