        Verdict

        Lincoln Blue couldn't quite get up at Yarmouth but stayed on well to score over the minimum at Chester so the extra will suit. He has a penalty to carry and Hello Baileys has performed well in better company than this so looks best of those with experience. However, the Godolphin newcomer LAZULI, a half-brother to four winners and out of a Listed two-year-old winner, won't have to be anything special to make a successful debut and is entered in the Gimcrack. Qaaddim hasn't been beaten far in either of his starts though another furlong wouldn't come amiss.
