In depth
Verdict
A line-up that lacks strength in depth for this Group 3 event but we like the look of Azarole, with Brunel, Gold History and Mokabra possibly representing the main dangers. Running through the field. Mokabra is smart but a five-pound penalty for winning a German Group 2 race will not make life easy for him. Azarole is improving and comes here on the back of a good fourth in the Group 2 Champagne Stakes last time. Brunel is well-regarded and made it third-time lucky in a Salisbury maiden last time. Gold History is also improving and Mark Johnston's colt is unbeaten in two starts so far. As with many of these, this is his biggest test to date. Mandobi looks held by Azarole on Newmarket maiden form, while Milk It Mick needs to step up on known form if he is to reward supporters. We hope that we will be rewarded in siding with Azarole.
