      Verdict

Novice winner Mawakib was beaten less than a length in a blanket finish at Kempton on his recent handicap debut but this is tougher. It remains to be seen if INTUITIVE fares any better now handicapping but he beat a subsequent winner at Kempton on his reappearance, despite carrying a penalty, so James Tate’s colt gets the vote with more to come. Jackstar lost his unbeaten record in the Craven Stakes over a mile here and races over 6f for the first time while Almufti also drops down in distance after placing in a conditions race over 7f at the track. Moyassar should be sharper for a recent comeback on his second outing after wind surgery and Ryan Moore partners the latter’s stablemate Beat Le Bon. Headgear is applied to Concierge having failed to figure in the All-Weather Championships at Lingfield last time, though he beat the consistent Princes Des Sables at Newcastle back in October.
