Verdict
Fox Leicester made all at Chelmsford on his comeback but forced a fast pace at Sandown on his handicap debut and paid the price in the closing stages. Global Warning made a winning start in handicaps when landing a lower grade contest over 7f at Newcastle and has been raised 9lb but ALKAAMEL has gone close off similar marks to today the last twice. He started the year with a hat-trick on the all-weather and may not have finished winning yet judged on his latest effort at Ripon. Jockey bookings suggest Leroy Leroy is preferred to Brian Epstein and Mordred of the three Hannon runners and Blonde Warrior is capable of much better back on fast ground.
