Colts and geldings take the stage for this more valuable race and preference is for SRI PUTRA ahead of those he beat last time in the Solario, whilst the progressive Liberation is not one to take lightly. Michael Jarvis has his horses in rare form and this half-brother to the useful Duty has impressed on his two starts to date. This is likely to be the quickest ground that he has faced to date, however this Oasis Dream colt should handle it and can complete the hat-trick and boost the coffers. Those in behind him last time include Cry Of Freedom (8th) and Weald Park (2nd) and both need respect although they race off level weights once again, so it may pay to side with Liberation who has progressed nicely so far and romped home in a competitive Ascot race last time. Nasri proved last time at Doncaster that a big field holds no fear, whilst Seminole is better than he ran last time. Irish challengers Dark Humour and Happy Day warrant respect, with the latter a well-bred son of Danehill Dancer who makes his debut today in this hot but valuable race. A handful of others must be considered, however we will side with Sri Putra.
