Verdict

Jazz Police gets our vote ahead of Parisian Art and Something Perfect. Jazz Police was probably flying a little too high when taking on Group opposition in the Champagne Stakes at Doncaster but today represents a welcome drop in class. Provided that he can be settled in the early stages, he has every chance of continuing his trainer's fine run of form. Jeremy Noseda took a big sales race earlier in the week so Parisian Art is respected. His Newmarket maiden didn't look the strongest of contests but its interesting that the BHA handicapper has chosen to rate him at 93 on what he has seen on the racecourse. Something Perfect won her debut at this course despite a slipping saddle. Though in receipt of all the allowances, this is nevertheless a huge step up in grade for the Henry Cecil filly. Pachattack didn't seem to act on good-to-soft at Goodwood and needs to be watched in the market today. Auorian looks second choice of the Hannon pair on jockey bookings whilst the very well bred Serva Jugum is related to a number of winning milers. Jazz Police is our selection in a race for the video.
