Verdict
Swords has been in good form of late, winning four of his last five starts, but a 6lb rise for the latest of those successes at Wolverhampton leaves him with more to do and preference is for WIND FLOW, who gets the vote with Dance The Star rated the pick of the remainder. The selection ran well in both starts last month, latterly when a close fourth behind Mixing here over this trip and he has solid claims racing off the same mark today. Tom Dascombe's Blakfrankisch has claims on the pick of his form but has yet to prove that he stays this far, while the ex-Irish Forthright gave little sign for encouragement on his first start for Brendan Powell at Newbury last month. David Simcock's Dance The Star was good value for his win at Lingfield in July and has solid claims on that run but was disappointing here subsequently. He is lightly raced and has to be respected but a safer option looks to be Wind Flow.
