Verdict

Warren Point represents last year’s winning yard and was plying his trade at the highest level at Belmont earlier in the year. The heavy ground is a worry for him, however, while Checkandchallenge hasn’t won for over a year now and steps back up in trip. PRIDE OF AMERICA (NAP) has reached new heights having had a second wind operation early in the year and won the John Smith’s Cup at York before placing in Listed company at Ayr. He should handle the prevailing underfoot conditions and is preferred to the struggling Claymore. The progressive handicappers Greek Order and Madame Ambassador have plenty to find on these terms.
