    Verdict

The doubts about Queen's Logic being fit enough to make the line up will throw the betting for this renewal into disarray as many ante post wagers will fall by the wayside. If last season's top rated filly in Europe does not take her chance the favourites mantle will probably be passed on to Gossamer. She displayed a tremendous turn of foot when she was last seen out at Ascot and judging from all the glowing gallops reports, this full sister to Barathea has progressed very nicely in the interim. She has no stamina queries to answer and sets a high standard for the rest. Aidan O'Brien is represented by a quartet of potentially top-class individuals, but the pick of the bunch may be Quarter Moon. She too has displayed sterling qualities on her visits to the racetrack so far and the way she settles in her races suggests that a mile is easily within her compass. Alasha and Misterah along with Lahinch should all have benefited from their recent outings and are very much respected in their claims against the market leaders, but is hard to see past Gossamer in the absence of a fully fit Queen's Logic. Maryinsky could be the best bet for a placeout of the remainder.
