    Verdict

Esloob has all the hallmarks of being something special and if she lives up to anything like her potential, she will take this outing in a breeze. She accounted for a handful of subsequent winners on her debut and then went on to chase home Gossamer and Marynsky (Half Glance held in fourth) in valuable contest at Ascot last September. However, the opposition today will provide a stiff test for her reappearance. Disco Volante is a half sister to the useful Valentino, and wasted no time stamping her authority over the field in a decent maiden at Newbury last month. She should have come on for the run and she could be hard to catch if she gets this extra two furlongs. Half Glance is also stepping up from the woefully inadequate trip of her reappearance and should be seen in a better light here. The extra distance should suit and she will be giving them all something to think about if she can recapture the turn of foot she displayed as a juvenile. Ballet Fame as the least exposed of the Barry Hills-trained duo is another interesting contender and her course experience will be invaluable as the race progresses.
