Verdict

Godolphin have won this for the last two years with Biondetti landing the spoils for Mahmood Al Zaroni 12 months ago. The latter saddles three this year with Frankie Dettori's presence aboard KINGLET suggesting the Kingmambo colt is the pick. A Derby entry, he's closely related to a couple of smart performers in the States and is potentially useful. Regal Gold's sire Exceed And Excel has already produced several decent juveniles this year and Richard Hannon's charge is worth noting for future reference, while John Gosden's Alshmemi cost more than half a million dollars and is another with an early Derby entry. He should also win races. Cryptic Choice and Wrotham Heath may prove the pick of the remainder.
