Verdict
The vote here goes to Real Cool Cat, with his biggest dangers reckoned to be Rock Lobster, Unsuited, First Show and Halla San. Connections were disappointed by Real Cool Cat's defeat at Ripon last time and this progessive colt, who had won his previous two races, can put that behind him and get back to winning ways on this faster going today. Juste Pour l'Amour is edging back to a more realistic mark, although he is not proven at the trip. Rock Lobster is knocking at the door and is respected, while Unsuited has been given much more of a chance by the handicapper now and is not too badly weighted based on last year's winning form. Lyrical Way was backed at Brighton last time but disappointed, while My Pension has reserved his best so far for the all-weather. Bouquet is entitled to be improving, and Darghan improved for the step up in trip last time so has place claims. Jeremy Noseda's First Show could be on a very fair mark and, dropping back in trip from last time, this lightly raced colt can go well. Finally, Halla San's Ripon run behind Clipperdown last time was fair and he too gets a mention but, overall, a solid vote goes to Real Cool Cat.
