      Verdict

      Fame And Acclaim, a winner three times last year for Joseph O’Brien, looked to be on the way back at York but would have preferred another furlong. Lexington Dash has placed over 7f but is essentially a sprinter. QUINTILLUS produced a career-best when third in the Britannia Stakes at Ascot in June and will probably be a short price to overcome a 5lb rise in the weights and give Godolphin another winner.
