Verdict

Project Dante steps up in trip having ran well in the Norfolk Stakes and can figure if lasting home but ELDRICKJONES found only one too good over today’s distance in the Coventry at Ascot. Roger Fell’s colt would have finished closer to the winner with a clear run and may prove the one to side with in this. Tolstoy, The Organiser and Ebro River all finished behind the selection with the latter preferred to stablemate and Windsor Castle runner-up Dig Two. The Hannon yard have good record in this and Lusail may prove best of the novice winners ahead of Aleezdancer and Jadhlaan.
