Verdict

Another handicap in which Mark Johnston boasts powerful representation. Iffraaz has been gelded since finishing last in the Dewhurst in October but is not certain to stay this far and penalised Windsor winner Overwrite is more interesting. Enemy, fourth in the Britannia at Ascot, still has time on his side and Global Storm finished ahead of HMS President and Grand Rock at the Royal meeting. KIPPS had an unlucky run in the King George V Stakes over 1m4f and will be fancied to go one better in first-time blinkers even though Al Maysan has never stopped improving and was going away from three useful rivals in the closing stages on the Rowley Mile last month. Morisco has won three of his five career starts so can’t be ignored.
