      Verdict

Frankie partnered Vale Of Kent to victory last year’s running though it was fast ground and the latter is 9lb higher this time. Stablemate Blown By Wind and Mutamaasik both finished behind MOTAKHAYYEL when the latter won the Buckingham Palace over today’s trip at Ascot last month. Jim Crowley prefers him to Mutamaasik once again and the Hannon colt should make another bold bid. Arigato landed a double on the Rowley course last month and handles soft ground while Sir Busker is another progressive type bidding for a hat-trick. Tomfre has come in for support having gone close at Sandown recently while Godhead has won three of four outings on the all-weather though is upped in class. Spanish City could only manage fourth in last year’s renewal and Raising Sand saves his best for Ascot.
