      Verdict

Though Master Archer has finished second in five of his six starts this year, he did win at Chester at the end of June. However, he was beaten by ST MARY’S on worse terms at Nottingham at the end of last year and Andrew Balding’s mare looked to be about to hit form when second at Chester last month. Stanley won over 1m6f at Salisbury in May and was second over 2m at Goodwood a couple of weeks later while Its'afreebee wsn’t suited by dropping back to 1m4f at Doncaster. Good Time Ahead opened his account on Turf at Chester last time but has struggled to get home over this far in the past.
