      Verdict

      Equiano Springs won off a pound higher mark here less than a year ago. He hasn’t been disgraced in three runs this terms and goes on the shortlist. Prince Of Bel Lir has won three times on good to firm this year and wasn’t beaten far off this mark last time at Epsom. Counsel got off the mark in spectacular fashion on Polytrack last month but drops to 6f for the first time. The three-year-old WAJD has gone up 6lb since scoring over track and trip two weeks ago but has had only six career starts so there may be more to come.
