In depth

Verdict

Magical Land returned a beaten favourite in both starts here last term. He hasn’t raced since July though the form of his most recent second has worked out well and the Godolphin colt has to come into the reckoning. But LEXINGTON KNIGHT and Carolus Magnus filled the places at Doncaster last month when the former missed out by only a short-head and Richard Hannon’s charge is taken to go one better. Hamoudi stumbled and unseated over 6f at Ascot on last summer’s debut and is preferred to the newcomer Arthur Conan Doyle.
