        Verdict

        Rochdale is entitled to come on for his reappearance run on an unsuitably soft surface at Ripon and gets the vote to resume winning ways back to the minimum trip ahead of Woodnook and Blue Aura. The last mentioned is less exposed than most of these and has to be considered for a yard that traditionally does well with their sprinters. Don't Tell Sue disappointed at Bath last time and is undoubtedly better than his showing there would suggest but the Barry Hills-trained colt would probably prefer a softer surface. Yellow Card is entitled to need the run and of more interest may be James Toller's Woodnook, who had little chance behind Empress Jain, a good winner at Chester on Thursday, at Yarmouth last time. There should be more to come from Rochdale though and he gets the nod.
