    Verdict

GO DUTCH looked as though another furlong would suit when runner-up to the well-supported Justineo over the C&D last month and, with that experience under his belt, he should go one better. Out Do started favourite on his debut at York but, though in touch for most of the way, faded out of it around the furlong mark. Rawaafed made a massive profit from his purchase price as a foal when bought for $300,000 as a yearling so connections must believe he will make something special, as an entry in the Racing Post Trophy suggests, but Ruscello is bred to be better over middle-distances and may find this too sharp.
