Verdict

Aidan O'Brien's filly Together arguably had the best form of these as a two-year-old, ending her campaign with an honourable fifth in the Breeders' Cup Juvenile Fillies Turf at Churchill Downs in November. But it remains to be seen if she's got further improvement in her this year and is up against several unexposed types here. Sadler's Risk has a lot more to do than when successful at Leicester on his reappearance, while stablemate State Opera has a bit to prove after disappointing here in October. Chef looks the type to make a decent three-year-old, however, despite only scraping home at Salisbury on his debut. QUESTIONING has only won an all-weather maiden so far but would probably have gone close in a valuable sales race over 7f here in the autumn with a clear run and, with this longer trip in his favour, can reverse that form today with the more exposed Measuring Time - John Gosden's charge gets the vote.
