Jimmy Styles beat Iver Bridge Lad and Brave Prospector in the Listed Cammidge Trophy at Doncaster earlier this month with Prime Defender and Doncaster Rover further behind. But Clive Cox's seven-year-old must carry a penalty here for that success and it would be no surprise if some of those behind turned the tables. Inler has claims on his win over 7f at Doncaster in October, while Genki and Poet's Place will both be hoping to convert solid handicapping form last season into some black type this year. Himalya ran some fine races last year without getting his head in front and is entitled to respect but DINKUM DIAMOND is fancied to strike an early blow for this year's classic generation. Henry Candy's colt contested many of the top juvenile sprints last season, winning at Salisbury and Sandown, and should be suited by the extra furlong this year.
