In depth

Verdict

A lottery of a handicap to start proceedings with only a speculative vote going to FELIX LEITER. The latter should be sharper for last month’s reappearance at the track and went close on more than one occasion last term. Bertiewhittle is a rare winner nowadays but ran well in a higher grade at Haydock recently while Ghalib beat Personal Touch over 6f at Ffos Las in September and Enlace won off a similar mark at Goodwood in August. Mount Tahan scored on the July course here in the same month and Firmdecisions landed a double over course and distance at this time last year.
