A difficult race to call with several making their handicap debuts having been beaten at Royal Ascot. Elysium Dream finished ahead of Gold Town in the Chesham without threatening the winner while Starlight Mystery was well beaten in the Albany having gone close at Newbury earlier. RED ROMAN never figured in the Coventry but had made all over 6f on the Rowley course here earlier and gets a speculative vote to improve for this extra distance. Guzman remains unbeaten after dead-heating for first at Newcastle while Tangled is another who could go well stepping up in trip.
