      Verdict

      With Roger Teal’s string already in good form, there seems little point in opposing last year’s winner OXTED who went on to land the July Cup here later. He had a pipe-opener on Dirt in Riyadh in February and has at least 11lb in hand on his rivals according to the ratings. Emaraaty Ana did nothing wrong when second in the Listed Cammidge Trophy at Doncaster on his reappearance and has solid place claims again. Shine So Bright is a former Group 2 winner but on a losing run while Summerghand has more to do than when just edging out Exalted Angel on All-Weather Finals day at Lingfield.
