Verdict
DINKUM DIAMOND looks to have a good opportunity to return to winning ways. He boasts the highest rating in the field and fast ground over the minimum trip look his ideal conditions. Henry Candy's sprinter gets the vote as Tamagin appears to be living on past glories given he hasn't won since 2008. Piccadilly Filly is also on a long losing run though her third in last year's Nunthorpe gives her every chance. Blue Jack is another searching for his best form, along with Darajaat, but recent Goodwood winner Poppy Seed could go well despite having a bit to find at the weights.
