Verdict

A really good finish to the evening's card featuring with a number of interesting runners going to post but there are question marks over a few so we'll take a chance with Just Like A Woman. The selection may lack the class and potential of some of her rivals but she's been running consistently well all season and appeals as an each-way option. Defeats behind the likes of Blue Sky Basin, Red Dune and Persian Sea look better in light of subsequent performances by the victors although the handicapper has taken note and raised her mark by 4lbs. Laddies Poker Two ran out a very impressive winner on debut but has presumably had her problems and lacks experience. Medicea Sidera had Meydan Princess, Oceana Blue, Lady Aquitane and Silca Chiave behind over course and distance last time but may not get an easy lead this time and has the revised terms to deal with. Cha Cha Cha has been the very model of consistency, Naughty Frida may have more to offer whilst Falcolnry and Gone Fast both contested the Cheveley Park Stakes at two and cannot be written off just yet. Interesting fare but Just Like A Woman may possess sufficient speed to give us a good run at a good price.
