Verdict
Not the strongest of handicaps to round off the afternoon as a few of these have already become expensive to follow. The likes of Beat The Heat, Shami and the frustrating Sergeant Cecil fit that risky profile and are not difficult to overlook - which makes the shortlist a little easier to compile. Ampoule merits respect as the chosen runner from his in-form yard's acceptors at the five-day stage, but he has plenty on at the weights and it may pay to side with the unexposed Chai Walla. His form with Red Wine is about the best on offer and he will be hard to master if he builds on that effort. Fourth Dimension and Allinjim are best of the rest.
