In depth

Verdict

Hydros returns after nearly 250 days off and wind surgery. The Frankel colt won an 'egg and spoon' maiden at 1/4 when last seen and could be anything. However, the fact Juddmonte and Sir Michael Stoute are persisting with the four-year-old is a major positive and he's intriguing. The market may reflect his chance. STORM DAMAGE (NAP) was far from disgraced when ninth of 18 in the Jersey Stakes on just a second start after an impressive Kempton debut and is preferred in receipt of 8lb from the topweight, although Godolphin also run Valiant Prince, who shaped with a deal of debut promise when only beaten a couple of lengths in April on the Rowley Mile.
